About this project

 

Plastic was one of the biggest fashion trends. It as a fabric is not a new topic in the fashion industry. Every second in the world, people are wasting plastic and leads to a great impact negatively on the environment. Apart from recycling wasted plastic products from parties, restaurants, or shops, another meaningful thing to do is using them to create garments of art.  

 

This is a project about plastic fashion using sustainable materials from home to create textiles garments. There are 4 looks of 2D design and one 3D piece in this collection. The intentions are making simple fashionable designs and to use plastic, combining with textiles techniques smartly. It includes some of 2020 fashion trends; such as bra-top craze, tiered dress, and highlighter reel.

People should be aware of plastic pollution and I would like to encourage them to reuse plastic to create fashion.
